Join STINAPA’s Marine Park Manager and Assistant Biologist in a talk about the reef damage from Hurricane Matthew.

Join STINAPA’s Marine Park Manager and Assistant Biologist in a talk about the reef damage from Hurricane Matthew. Hurricane Matthew passed north on Bonaire September 29th, causing heaving storm surge to strike our coastline the following week. STINAPA staff, interns and volunteers surveyed the damage to assess the initial impact of Matthew on our reefs. We present our findings and their implications for reef health following natural disasters.

This lecture is part of STINAPA’s monthly ‘Connecting People with Nature’ series for visitors and general public who wish to learn more about Bonaire’s nature- above and below the sea.
