Bird watching with STINAPA on “International World Wetlands Day”

This Friday, February 2 is “International World Wetlands Day”. To create awareness for this special day, STINAPA organizes a birdwatching excursion at the Saliña di Vlijt.

Every year on this date, worldwide awareness is created on the importance of wetlands for humans, birds and various other animal species.

Bonaire has various wetland ecosystems such as dams, mangrove forests, seagrass beds, coral reefs and saliñas.

To create awareness for the International World Wetland Day, STINAPA is organizing a birdwatching excursion this Friday February 2nd at the Saliña di Vlijt, opposite the Pelikaan School from 16.30 to 17.30.
