STINAPA presentation on parrotfish and elasmobranchs

On Tuesday December 12th from 7-8pm STINAPA will have two presentations at the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance, DCNA, (Kaya Finlandia 10A – opposite City Shop).

Hannah Rempel, PhD candidate at California Polytechnic State University and former STINAPA Assistant Biologist, will be presenting her recent findings on ‘Parrotfish Feeding Behavior’.

Mavelly Velandia, former Junior Ranger and now a bachelor student at HAS University of Applied Sciences from Den Bosch and intern with STINAPA, will be presenting on the Save Our Sharks research: Baited Remote Underwater Video (BRUV) survey of elasmobranchs on Bonaire’s reef.

Each presentation will take approximately 20 minutes.

Everyone is welcome on Tuesday December 12th from 7pm to 8pm.
