An adult smooth trunkfish is about 6-10 inches in size, maximum 1 foot.

Normally found in depths of 15-80 feet.

The juveniles are about the size of a pea!! They are black with bright yellow dots.

Smooth trunkfish are normally solitary but sometimes found in small groups.
